Over the last few months we have been working closely with students from the BA Fashion Course at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design (CSM) and last week we celebrated the winner of the Gieves and Hawkes illustration competition.
We collaborated with 1st year students when we sponsored a drawing day for them at CSM giving us the perfect opportunity to talk to them about branding and how they could interpret this into their own work. A competition to recognise young talent was set and for one lucky winner’s illustrations to be used as part of the visual branding for No.1 Savile Row. Their design would best represent the brand in a ‘quirky’ yet masculine way.
The winner was announced last week at No.1 with a presentation and champagne reception. The standard of work was exceptionally high and therefore choosing the winner was a very difficult decision to make. We were very pleased to announce our winner as Fiona O’Keefe and two runners up Agata Masternak and Annabel Vawser, who were awarded with a cash prize and an exclusive goodie bag.
We hope this will give us the opportunity to work more closely with CSM in future projects.
